That's not quite what I'm saying. Regardless...
some of the tenets (no individual can be adequately identified by membership in a single group) are very much organic to any discussion on race.
I don't see it as too extreme nor do I see it as the final word on race in America. I'd also argue that, at this point, it almost needs to be taught given the attention it's receiving. Also, theories are suppositions, particularly those that attempt to explain social dynamics. Their academic treatment
should be an open examination.
